Most Valuable Player – Alex You ’23
Congratulations to Jihyun (Alex) You ‘23 on winning the T. Allen Manfuso ‘83 Athlete of the Year Award for the 2021/2022 School Year! Established in 2010, athletes are nominated by the head coach based on their ability to lead, sportsmanship, exceptional athletic abilities, and integrity.
Alex is a truly worthy recipient of this accolade. Some of his recent accomplishments in the sport of #crew include 4 World Records, New York State Champion, National Champion, Ranked in the Top 10 in the World (not once, but TWICE), and he is a member of the Junior National Team!
The sky is the limit for this gifted young athlete, and we could not be more pleased to have him as a long-term member of our Knox community!
