This year’s prom was held on The Knox School’s beautiful and serene waterfront campus. After more than a year of social distancing, canceled events, and modified gatherings, The Knox School was pleased to offer its students a safe environment to continue this cherished tradition.

With record-low covid-19 positivity levels in New York (0.61%), the student vaccination efforts of our Knox health & wellness team, and after months of careful planning with student council, prom committee members, parent volunteers, and school leadership, Prom Night was a success!
The Junior and Senior classes, and their guests, enjoyed an incredible evening of dining and dancing in an elegant open-air pop-up pavilion brought in for the special event. Add to this, pre-prom pictures at the local beach and watching the sunset behind our historic Houghton Hall – and you’ve got all the makings of a night to remember!
This year, more than ever, our students deserve to celebrate their accomplishments, resilience, and perseverance. We look forward to honoring them in the coming days with our year-end Middle School Moving Up Ceremony, Senior Awards Night, and the 2020-2021 Commencement.
