COVID Lifts & Art Gallery Shines!

The past week at Knox offered many reasons to celebrate! Our Class of 2021 received their diplomas and started the next chapter of their young adult lives, our eight-graders became official high school students, and we honored dozens of student scholars, athletes, and do-gooders with academic and character awards.

Giving Knox another reason to celebrate this week, New York state’s most recent covid-19 positivity rates (0.35% daily rate; 0.42% 7-day rolling-average) are the lowest in the nation.

With the great progress in the battle against covid-19 Knox deemed it safe to reopen the Solarium Gallery at Houghton Hall. After nearly 18 months of bare walls, the faculty of the Visual Arts Department proudly displayed select student works from Upper School classes, including Studio Art, AP Art and Design, Media Arts, Photography, and Electronic Illustration.
