Dear Future Knox Student,
I am so happy to congratulate you on your acceptance to The Knox School and hope to welcome you to our campus next fall.
My name is Farrokh, and I joined The Knox School at the beginning of this school year as a student who transferred first from Afghanistan and then to Sweden, to join my two sisters here in the United States.
The Knox School has been extremely transformative for me because previous schools were extremely different. Prior to Knox, my studies were extremely test-oriented and rigidly structured, and the teachers were not very supportive. But at Knox, the teachers and students have supported me in so many ways. The curriculum, although very challenging, supports critical thinking and creativity. This is very exciting to me because I am learning new things about myself and exploring new possibilities for my future.
As an international student, I was very nervous about coming to The Knox School. However, I quickly made good friends and the community is comfortable and feels like an extended family.
