Important Information for New Students:

Below are links to important information and forms to help new students transition into the 2019-20 school year. If you need any other form or need additional information, please email our Admissions office at admissions@knoxschool.org. We will be happy to assist you.

Domestic Students

Step One: Sign your enrollment contract, and mail it with your deposit check, to the admissions office. Please address your envelope to the attention of the admissions office.

Step Two: Open up your Smart Tuition Account. All future invoices and charges will be paid through your Smart Tuition Account.

International Students

Step One: Sign and email your enrollment contract back to the admissions office. Please email all contracts to the admissions office at admissions@knoxschool.org

Step Two: Open up your Smart Tuition Account

Two Options:

1. Complete the Smart Tuition Enrollment form and email it back to the admissions office at admissions@knoxschool.org and we will open the account for you.

Step Three: Once the account is open, submit your payment to your Smart Tuition Account via wire transfer. Please include your Smart ID# when making your wire to Smart Tuition. If directly enrolling, your Smart ID # will be on your Smart Tuition account. If we are opening the account for you, we will send the Smart ID # to you once the account is open.

Health & Immunization Forms

Upon registering at The Knox School, you will receive an email from our Magnus Health Portal. This email will contain a username and password, and will provide step-by-step instructions and deadlines for submitting your student's health records.

New York State law requires that all students must submit comprehensive health examinations and immunization records prior to arriving on campus.

Prep Basketball
Varsity Boys and Girls Tennis

Competitive sports including SOCCER, CREW, VOLLEYBALL, and PREP-BASKETBALL will arrive one week prior to the start of school orientation to participate in an exciting program of team workouts, meetings, bonding opportunities and presentations designed to allow student-athletes to be mentally and physically prepared for their challenging sports season!

Day Students: Request transportation from home school district to ensure busing for the 2019/20 School Year

July 24, 2019:
Day Student Registration from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

August 8, 2019:
Day and Five Day Boarding Student Registration from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

August 20, 2019:
Day and Five Day Boarding Student Registration from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

All Boarding Student Arrival from 8:00 a.m. Afternoon Sports Testing & Practices

All-School BBQ followed by Red/White Team Choosing at 5:30 p.m., Closed Weekend for Boarding Students

September 7, 2019:
Mandatory Sports Practices

First Day of Classes begins at 8:00 a.m.

October 4-6, 2019:
Fall Family Weekend

Thanksgiving Break begins Thursday 11/21 at 5:00 p.m. - all students depart by Friday at 12:00 p.m.

December 3, 2019:
Term 2 begins

December 20, 2019:
Winter Break begins - students depart by 12:00 p.m.

January 5, 2020:
All students return by 7:00 p.m.

February 27, 2020:
Term 2 ends; Spring Break begins Thursday at 5:00 p.m. - students depart by Friday at 12:00 p.m.

March 15, 2020:
All students return by 7:00 p.m.

March 16, 2020:
Term 3 begins

June 6, 2020:
Commencement Activities. Students begin departure at 1:00 p.m.
