As Director of Advancement, Meredith directs the School’s fundraising efforts. Meeting with alumni, parents, community & corporate partners and friends of the school, Meredith ensures that the school's fundraising priorities & events align with our goals. Meredith holds a B.S in Sport Management and comes from an extensive background in professional athletics, events, sponsorship and non-profit fundraising. She is a Long Island native and currently resides in Babylon.

Often referred to as the “keeper of the flame,” Janice has served The Knox School for forty-five years in numerous instructional and administrative capacities. As Director of Alumni, Parent and Student Relations she works to stay connected to alumni, past parents and friends of the School in the local community, nationally and all over the world. She supports all aspects of the School’s advancement activities, directs The Annual Fund, serves as liaison to The Knox School Parents’ and Alumni Associations, and is editor of KNOX Magazine. Janice holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of North Texas and a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies from State University of New York at Stony Brook.

Dr. Karyn Cernera Bush

As Director of Marketing and Communications, Karyn works to connect The Knox School with our local community, and both national and international partners through news releases, social media, The Beacon newsletter, and other forms of communication. In addition, she supports academic programming through teaching, participating in faculty training, assisting accreditation efforts, and supporting the vitality of on-campus life for The Knox students. Karyn recently completed her Doctorate degree at Colorado Technical University in Management of Teaching and Learning, and holds an Masters in Fine Art from Pratt Institute.

As Development Assistant, Danielle supports all aspects of fundraising, events and alumni affairs at Knox. Danielle holds a B.S in Business Management and comes from an extensive background in events and logistical support. She is a Long Island native and currently resides in Amityville.
