Travel Program

Travel at the Knox Summer Adventures is about more than just getting off campus. We aim to give campers an experience. Campers will have the opportunity to make strong relationships, forged on the road, that are based on an organic connection that comes from experiencing a variety of trips and activities. Whether we are at the aquarium or the zoo, water parks or the local trampoline park or anything in between, campers will have experiences and make memories that will stay with them forever.

Sharks: Entering 7th & 8th Grades

The Sharks are co-ed groups who make up our travel program. The Sharks will journey to area favorites throughout the summer THREE days a week. Please note that some of the scheduled trips for the Sharks will be longer than the regular camp day and transportation to and from camp may not be available. Also, overnight trips will require extra fees.

Barracudas & Orcas: Entering/attending High school

The Barracudas & Orcas are coed groups that will also be a part of our travel program. The Barracudas & Orcas will travel to area favorites throughout the summer THREE days a week. Please note that some of the scheduled trips for will be longer than the regular camp day and transportation to and from camp may not be available. Also, overnight trips will require extra fees, please call or email for specific details.

During their on-campus days (Mondays and Fridays), Sharks, Barracudas and Orcas will have a blast in our TEEN REC CENTER. In addition to their regular on campus activities, these teens and tweens will enjoy their own special camp space that features air hockey, ping pong, basketball, foosball, game-tables, music, snacks and MUCH, MUCH MORE!

** RAINY DAY TRIP POLICY** In the event of a rained out trip every effort will be made to replace the trip with inside activities, (ie Dave and Busters, Movies, Bowling, St James Sports Arena, etc). The camp will then attempt to reschedule the trip later in the summer. In this instance, campers will be charged for two days of camp if they attend both days (the rain day and the rescheduled trip). If the camper does not want to participate in the rain out activity, they can switch their day to the rescheduled day for no additional fee, but must not attend camp on the rain day.
