Capital Gifts
Offering a great education exacts a price, and much needs to be done as Knox continues to move forward in this exciting and challenging new century. The goal of capital giving is to support the strategic initiatives established by the Headmaster and the Board of Trustees. These initiatives include building and grounds renovations or construction, financial aid for students with demonstrated need, and support for our faculty professional development programs. Capital gifts also help to perpetuate or grow important new programs in academics, the arts, and athletics, and they can be directed to build endowment to support the school in perpetuity. Of course, all these areas of need point back to one thing: providing a first rate education for the Knox student. With your support through capital giving, you insure that Knox can continue to provide our students with an educational experience that will prepare them for college and for a lifetime of learning and service.
We at Knox are grateful for the generous spirit of our capital gift donors. Their philanthropy is a testimony to making a difference in the lives of young people and creating a legacy that continually inspires our students and our entire community. To learn more about this or other ways of giving, please contact Mr. Duncan Marshall, Assistant Headmaster for Enrollment and External Affairs at 631-686-1600 ext 407 or dmarshall@knoxschool.org. All charitable giving to Knox is accepted within the guidelines of the Knox School Gift Acceptance Policy.
