Facilities and Technology
Facilities
The Dann Administration and Classroom Building accommodates administrative offices, classrooms, studios for art and photography, a computer lab and the library.
Lawrence Hall houses our science labs, a computer lab, and several classrooms.
Bancroft-Phinney Hall is a multi-purpose building that includes facilities for theatre, music, dance, The Falcon’s Nest” school store, and a spacious gymnasium.
Houghton Hall, the “community center” of our school, houses the dining room, the Health and Well-Being Center (note: Knox provides 24 hour nursing care and an on call doctor), our meeting hall, and living quarters for boarding girls and resident faculty. For boarding, Knox also has four other dormitories for boys or girls and their resident faculty. These dorms vary in size from as few as 5 students to as many as 30. All dorms include student lounges and laundry facilities.
Our Equestrian facilities are truly special. We board over a dozen horses, have a covered riding ring, and offer acres of outdoor riding for beginners as well as competitive riders.
Technology
At Knox, technology is integrated throughout the daily curriculum to foster active learning. Technology is used to enhance communication, collaboration, organization and production in all classes.
